Forest School RSPB Birdwatch
A busy few weeks in Forest School with pupils taking part in the RSPB birdwatch, a national campaign set up to monitor bird numbers. Bird feeders were made and filled before carefully observing the bird species using the Merlin Bird ID app. They were delighted to see that a Greater Spotter Woodpecker has visited the area and it appears to be nesting nearby.
The Winter Olympics inspired some pupils to create their own Forest Games with balancing, throwing and jumping events included.
